Description
I painted this piece some years ago. It was inspired by the historical lighthouse and the building in Boca Grande in south western Florida. Now because of Hurricane Ian last year, it brings out more significance. We have not returned to the area yet since the disaster. I have read the village suffered extensive damages from the storm and its surge. Our hearts go out for people who are coping.
