This street with old store homes are called “Momen Kaido / Cotton Road”. Late 19th century in Japan, the popular merchant center existed for trading cotton as well as having sake breweries and soy sauce makers. The darkness of aged wood and old tiles on those houses have not changed for ages. It is always quiet and strangely deserted, which I enjoy very much.
